Two for you today and I think this adds to our understanding of the history of the Milk Stout. The two Birkenhead Brewery Co labels give details of the patent, presumably that filed by Mackeson and the one on the right gives a guarantee that the brewing is supervised by the patentee. I believe the one on the left to be the earlier, possibly before 1920.
