Additions to Featured brewery section

The three themes so far this year have proved extremely popular; thanks to everyone who has contributed whether through their comments or sending in images. It makes a huge difference to feel that our efforts are appreciated. However, I feel we have neglected other aspects of site. Today we have added labels from Crosswell’s Cardiff Brewery, which you can find here and Harris Browne’s Hadley Brewery which you can find here.

The next label in the Brewery Buildings theme will be here today. It is combined with the first of Adrian’s Desert Island Beer labels. As Adrian is a Yorkshireman through and through, you can expect a number of labels from that county. So the next few weeks will see the continuation of Brewery Buildings theme, plus Adrian’s desert island choices and possibly a ‘Spot the Difference’ and ‘Mystery label’.

Finally, there is the Spring meeting in Peterborough on 16th April. An opportunity to exchange or buy labels,  meet friends and partake of a refreshment or two. We have added a section to the menu, indicating the labels which will be available to members at future meetings, either through sales or auction.

Very good to see you have, at last, put some more Welsh labels on this site. I must say there are plenty I have not seen before, especially pleased to see the Invalid Stout. I didn’t even know they bottled at Pontypridd, let alone the office at Queen Street. I shall have to call in at the local library and find out some more. Thank you for another excellent set of labels. I expect you are waiting to add the ones produced after the takeover by Andrew Buchan.
