Ely Brewery Company Ltd

Originally registered in late 1897 and then later acquired by the Rhondda Valley Breweries Co Ltd in 1920. The name was changed to Rhondda Valley & Ely Breweries Co Ltd and the name then reverted to Ely Brewery Co Ltd in 1928. The business was then acquired by Rhymney Breweries Ltd in 1959, together with some 256 public houses. Brewing finally ceased in 1978.
