The dedicated collector of labels from Valentin Blatz Brewery Co has plenty of variations to go for. Labels with the Permit District 7 -U – 712 are those issued in 1933 and 1934 after the repeal of prohibition. The keg labels apparently didn’t warrant the Castle. There are a number of labels from the 1940s with a much simpler, less attractive design. I have no explanation for the two labels which omit the word ‘Castle’.
