The Scandinavian countries were prolific providers of material for the discerning collector of Christmas and other seasonal festivals. Here is a Jovial Santa leaving no doubt what this beer was celebrating even if the drinker was unaware of the meaning of Jule Hvidtøl. A basic design still in use today by the Ceres Brewery of Aarhus Denmark.

That’s why Mr C has me doing extra orbits. I do really like those Scandinavian spent grains. The best bit is we can help ourselves, burp!
