Beer labels added; Brewers in Kent

We have added a number of additional labels in the Brewers in Kent series. Go take a look. I am still waiting for an example from Sharp & Winch of Cranbrook, New Northfleet Brewery and Leney’s Wateringbury Brewery to name just a few. Wait! I have written that sentence before, still no harm in trying.

Hello Peter. Did you ever track down any Sharpe & WInch labels? It appears that S&W weren’t early adopters of bottling and it seems that they only started in the period immediately after WW1. I have an example of their IPA label and believe that they also bottled a Brown Ale but I’ve not seen any of these. I’m updating Cranbrook Museum’s “History of the Baker’s Cross Brewery” and if you have any further information/images, I’d be very interested. Thanks. Rory
