We almost forgot. There were traditional brewers in Liverpool who also bottled other brewers products. Higson’s, who brewed at the former Cain’s Brewery in Toxteth, were typical. Untypically, they have tried to disguise the origins of this Irish Stout. I know what I think, but who do you think brewed it?.
