The Burnley Clubs Brewery served the pubs and clubs in East Lancashire for nearly 50 years. Ram Tam must have been a popular beer in those days because the beer was continued by the Lancashire Clubs Brewery in nearby Barrowford when the Burnley Clubs company was bankrupt in 1949, and then by the Yorkshire Clubs Brewery after their takeover of the Lancashire trade in 1951. And of course, this is a lovely label.
