Unusual names for a Stout #9; Polar

To a certain extent I can understand why certain beers sell well when served cold, particularly in hot weather or a hot climate. But surely not a Stout and in England; who could have thought that ‘Polar’ was a good name. J.W.Green obviously did and produced a fine design for the label. Unsurprisingly this beer was not long lived.
