Got to add a bit of variety into this theme, can’t have early British examples every day. This is a modern label from Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada and I think it is a very attractive design. Renfrew? Any connection?

Hi Peter. Thanks for this. I agree – an attractive label – good to have this variety on our cask labels feature. Visited Vancouver Island in 2015 – brilliant place – loved Tofino and visited the brewery there. Never found Sooke OB so will need to go back! Have a look at SOB website, some attractive bottle labels as well. Cheers, Eric
