I am indebted to our friend in the North East for this superb example. Alfred Henry Richards bought the Grove Inn, Walcot, Shropshire in 1894 & added a small brewery.
Due to his wife`s illness, he was forced to sell up 1898 (to Allsopps for £3,000).
