Beaver Brand was registered by Machen & Hudson in 1887, shortly after Mr. Hudson joined the company. This was their main brand for sales to the United States and Canada. Machen & Hudson sold out to Export Bottlers Ltd in 1936.

I don’t recall seeing Foreign Export abbreviated before, but haven’t looked thru my Guinness labels for a good while.

Guinness themselves used the abbreviations ES and FES, but you are right For. Ex. Stout is unusual.
